Hair Extensions may seem a little overwhelming at first, but with the right education and an experienced stylist, it's just another day at Posh. So, we've devoted this entire page to help ease your mind and explain the best ways to make your new extensions last.  By the end, you should have a taste of our knowledge base, and you'll see why so many people turn to Posh for their hair extensions.

Because we use the Sew-in Hair method, which is the only application method that doesn't cause any hair damage. The extensions are sewn into a tiny cornrow, which is braided into the hair horizontally across the scalp. The hair we use is 100% human European satin hair, which can last up to 4 months and is entirely reusable if it's properly treated.

To get started, schedule a consultation with your stylist to find the perfect color match for your hair (Usually takes 10-15 min). After that, we will order your extensions, which usually takes about 3-4 days to arrive.

Plan to visit your stylist every 4-6 weeks to check for ordinary damage and retighten any bonds that may have loosened.

What should you do after your Extensions are put in?

Hair extensions wear out with normal wash and wear. Wash your hair 2-3 times a week vs. every day and do NOT go to bed with wet hair. Instead put your hair in a ponytail to avoid waking with tangles.

Brush your hair. Your extensions will not fall out from brushing, but DON'T brush too harshly as it may cause the bonds to loosen. Use a brush with soft bristles, working your way up your hair from the bottom to the top. When you reach your scalp, hold the extensions at the root area and brush gently from the root through the ends. Do NOT brush at the scalp!! Repeat 2-3 times a day.

Heat is one of your hairs worst enemy's, and the more you use it, the less amount of time your hair extensions will last. Use heat protecting oil that will absorb into your extensions and keep your hair from burning!  Use a good leave-in conditioner  and oil to keep  your hair soft. Avoid any products that contain alcohol, which can make the hair dry out. Ask your stylist for recommended products that will keep your hair Healthy and last longer.
